The Connecticut Community Providers Association...

Represents organizations that provide services and supports for people with disabilities including people with addictions, mental illness, developmental, and physical disabilities. CCPA operates three divisions, developmental disabilities, behavioral health, and children's mental health & substance abuse, and is the lead advocate for rehabilitation and behavioral health service providers, supporting services for people with disabilities at the state legislature and with state agencies.  Click here for important Association documents.

It was a Boat Cruise and Birthday Celebration!  A group gathers to help Marilyn Cormack blow out her candles.

CCPA Welcomes two new board members: Heather Gates, President/CEO of Community Health Resources  and Galo Rodriguez, President/CEO of the Village for Children and Families, Inc.  Congratulations and welcome!

Susan Walkama, LCSW has been named President & CEO of Wheeler Clinic effective June 1, 2008.

Hartford Behavioral Health has named Alice Farrell, JD, LCSW, MSW~ as the Interim Executive Director/Clincial Director, effective June 16, 2008.  

Rosemarie Cassin of the Bristol ARC will be celebrating her retirement this June after 31 years of service to the agency.  Francine Pangaro has been names the new Executive Director of the agency.

The Child Guidance Clinic of Greater Waterbury will begin operating under the new name of Wellpath, Inc. on April 1, 2008.

 


A Round of Applause Goes To…


The Kennedy Center, Inc. ~ The agency is hosting the third annual Visions from the Heart art exhibit, which will be on display until July 19th at Bridgeport's City Lights Gallery.  Proceeds will benefit the organization's Therapeutic Arts Program.  Click to read the full press release.
