Public Policy
  • CCPA has partnered with Bridges … A Community Support System in applying for a Connecticut Health Foundation Health Policy in 2006 Grant.  CCPA and Bridges proposed to develop and launch a comprehensive state-wide education and information campaign related to children’s mental health issues.  The proposal aims at overcoming a historical lack of understanding of the importance of children’s mental health services within the continuum of care of community health services.  The Foundation will award up to eight $25,000 grants to increase awareness and knowledge among community members and policy-makers and will notify applicants in March.  Special thanks to Barry Kasdan, President and CEO, Bridges … A Community Support System and CCPA Chairman of the Board for his work on this proposal.
